The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth finally released on PC, PS4, and PS Vita. For all the Isaac fans and speed runners out there, Rebirth is the best 16-bit blessing to ever grace the gaming community since, well, 16-bit consoles. More items, more rooms, more bosses and enemies, and more RNG than you can brimsnap at. Bomb down another door as we continue to face Mom once again!
We wanted to wait awhile before even publishing this since we were eagerly monitoring Rebirth’s viewer counts within the past 12 hours on Twitch. The hype was real and definitely promising to see gamers and viewers come together to watch some of their favorite broadcasters play Rebirth.
Beginning with a firm initial viewer count, Rebirth came in at #11with over 5,000 viewers. Understand that Rebirth wasn’t even available to download and play for most individuals, so early access and pre-release streams were the only source. Also, last night was a Monday, most peeps were heading off or already fast asleep.
Fast-forward 8 to 12 hours later and we see a huge spurt from 21,000+ to 43,000+ viewers! Rebirth’s popularity and view count are expected to grow since Rebirth was locked as a pre-purchase on Steam early this morning on release day. Overnight, Rebirth jumped from rank #11 to #5 on Twitch and we could not be happier for the little dude! We are definitely keeping a wet and teary eye on Rebirth’s status as the week progresses while our other eye will be used to play Rebirth ourselves.

We are excited about finally being able to use a controller, local co-op, and discovering the new items added into the game which was estimated around 150! RNG be damned. Cheers, everyone and say “Hi” to Mom for us!
